We collect information you directly enter into the app, including:

  • Baby Profile: Name, date of birth, gender (stored locally).
  • Care Logs: Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, sleep, diaper, and growth records.
  • Account Information (Optional): If you create an account, we collect your email address via Firebase Authentication for login purposes.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: We may use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., screens visited, buttons clicked) to improve the app.
  • Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports to fix bugs.
  • Device Information: Device model, OS version, and other technical details used for diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide Services: Storing and displaying your baby's feeding and care history.
  • Cloud Sync (Optional): If you sign in, we synchronize your data across your devices using Firebase Realtime Database/Firestore.
  • Improvements: Analyzing usage trends to enhance app features and stability.
  • Advertising: Displaying non-intrusive advertisements via Google AdMob to support the free version of the app.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: By default, all data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted database.
  • Cloud Storage: If you sign in, your data is securely stored on Google Cloud servers (Firebase) located in the US/EU.
  • Security: We use industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data during transmission.

5. Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party companies and services for the following reasons:

  • Google Firebase: For authentication, database, analytics, and crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers to personalize ads. You can opt-out of personalized advertising in your Android Settings (Google > Ads).

6. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

7. Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your data at any time.

  1. In-App Deletion: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will wipe all local and cloud data associated with you.
  2. Request Deletion: Contact us at babyfeedinglog@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
